It utilizes the principle of ion exchange to remove calcium and magnesium ions in water that are prone to form precipitates, so as to soften the water quality and take care of sensitive skin.
There are two softening principles for the central water softener. One is the traditional ion exchange technology. Through the exchange between the functional ions on the resin and the calcium and magnesium ions in the water, the excess calcium and magnesium ions in the water are adsorbed to achieve the purpose of removing scale (calcium carbonate or magnesium carbonate). The other is the currently newly adopted Nano-Crystalline TAC technology. The Nano-Crystalline TAC water softener uses the high energy generated by the crystal nuclei on the surface of the nano-crystalline polymer spheres to package the calcium, magnesium, bicarbonate and other ions in water into nanoscale crystals. When these crystals grow to about 2 nanometers, they will automatically fall off into the water. Without calcium, magnesium and bicarbonate ions in the water, there will be no scale formation.
