In terms of anti-corrosion performance
Excellent anti-corrosion ability
The zinc layer on the surface of galvanized cable pipe provides good protection. Zinc is more chemically active than iron. Under normal environmental conditions, zinc will oxidize before iron. For example, when the cable pipe is exposed to the air, zinc will react with oxygen and moisture in the air to form a dense protective film of zinc oxide (ZnO). This film can prevent further oxidation processes and also prevent the iron inside the pipe from contacting corrosive substances from the outside world (such as acid rain, acidic components in industrial waste gas, etc.), thus greatly extending the service life of the cable pipe.
In some relatively humid environments, such as underground pipeline systems or places close to water bodies, the anti-corrosion advantage of the galvanized layer is even more obvious. Even if there is local damage to the galvanized layer, due to the galvanic cell effect formed by zinc and iron, zinc will continue to be corroded as the anode, while iron is protected as the cathode. This sacrificial anode cathodic protection method can effectively prevent large-area corrosion of the pipe body.

High strength
The galvanized cable pipe itself has sufficient strength to withstand certain external pressures and impacts. It can resist the pressure of the soil when buried underground and resist possible collisions and squeezes when installed in buildings. For example, during the construction process, when other equipment or materials accidentally hit the installed galvanized cable pipe, it can maintain its shape and will not be easily deformed, thus ensuring the safe laying of cables inside the pipe.
Good toughness
It has a certain degree of toughness and can be bent appropriately without breaking. This characteristic enables appropriate adjustments to be made according to the actual installation path during cable pipe laying. For example, when bypassing building beams, columns or other obstacles, the cable pipe can be bent to an appropriate angle to meet the laying requirements, and its mechanical properties and anti-corrosion performance will not be affected after bending.
