Insulated glass is commonly consists of two (sometimes more) panes of tempered glass separated by an aluminum spacer and sealed together at the edge. The insulating airspace is filled with dry air or a noble gas, such as argon or krypton inside to slow the heat exchange and reduce noise levels. The aluminum spacer is filled with silica desiccant pellets to ensure removal of any moisture in the airspace. It can be insulated glass and laminated insulated glass.
Advantages of insulated glass:
1.Soundproof: the general insulating glass can lower the voice 34 decibels or so.It can reduce the traffic noise of 80 decibels to a very peaceful degree of 45 decibels.the using of sulfur fluoride as the gas medium will result in better soundproof.
2.Heatproof: the gas blocked in the glass is a poor heat transmitter that can reduce the heat
transmission coefficient U availability.
3.Energy saving glass: perfect to used for air-condition place.
4.Safe and stable.
